It is the aim of VALITOR Cross-Border Acquiring to strengthen its position in the cross-border acquiring markets and enhance the services of the company on an international level with the aim of establishing cross-border transactions as the cornerstone of the company in the years to come.

For a long time, merchants were only allowed to deal with acquirers in the country where they were registered. Soon after the opportunity arose of servicing merchants in every part of Europe, an application was made for the authority of doing cross-border transactions and this authority was issued in the year 2002. Since then, only merchants in E-Commerce have been doing business with the company, but with a new system, which has been designed within VALITOR, the opportunities have emerged to offer services to merchants in card present transactions as well.
