Chip & PIN Solutions Ltd, the UK’s leading supplier of card payment services has helped raise more than £11k for charity.
The Bishop’s Stortford-based business showed its charitable support on Saturday 29 September with the donation of more than 20 card payment machines to a charity ball in aid of ‘The Bailey Sarwa appeal’ in a bid to increase donation spend.
The charity ball, which saw more than 200 guests attend including the likes of BBC Eastender’s Adam Woodyatt, Shane Richie and Shona McGarty, was a spectacular event aimed at raising awareness of Bailey Sarwa, a 13-year old suffering from a second round of aggressive cancer.
The Managing Director of Chip & PIN Solutions ltd, said: ‘We were invited to attend the charity ball by Adam Woodyatt, one of the charity’s leading supporters.
By offering the option of donation by card guests were not limited to the cash in their bags, which resulted in an additional £5,744.19p being donated by card.
