Chip & PIN Solutions, announced as the preferred payments supplier for The Association of Independent Festivals.
The AIF was founded in 2008 by Rob Da Bank (Bestival) and his Manager Ben Turner (Graphite Media). The combined attendance of AIF’s 55 member events exceeds 500,000, contributing over £200m to the UK economy annually.
The Managing Director of Chip & PIN Solutions announced;
“We are delighted to be the preferred payments supplier with the AIF. This special commercial agreement is expected to bring substantial savings and benefits to AIF members. It will also add great value and reliability to their events through offering their traders card acceptance facilities.”
Chip & PIN Solutions has formed excellent partnerships over the years with a number of trade associations, professional bodies and key stakeholders across the UK. Supporting members by providing the latest card payment technology, highly discounted rates and excellent customer service.
This new benefit means AIF members will be able to offer their traders a range of highly discounted payment solutions, including short and long term card terminal rental. This will enable event traders to accept card payments without having to commit to a long-term contract.
“By enhancing your trader’s event experience you will increase your chances to retain trader/exhibitors for future events. Visitors are likely to make impulse purchases if they are not restricted to cash therefore increasing the success of your event.” Managing Director, Chip & PIN Solutions
Chip & PIN Solutions supply short term card terminals to businesses attending events, exhibitions, and festivals across the UK. Customer feedback indicates that offering flexible ways for customers to pay for goods and services at events is extremely important, especially with the growing consumer demand for mobile payments.
